Earns Early Career Award

AMES - Sam Harper of Pro-Crop Farm Management and Realty, was recognized as the Early Career Award recipient during the The Iowa Chapter of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers held recently in Ames..

Chapter President Craig Hill explained that the annual recipient is a Chapter member who has made outstanding contributions to the Chapter, ASFMRA, and their profession.

The recipient must be involved with leadership activities within the Iowa Chapter, the National organization, and their local communities and they must be demonstrating progress toward becoming accredited in Farm Management or Rural Appraisal.

The recipients must also be actively involved in their profession or appropriate consulting.

Harper has met these requirements and was selected as the 2017 winner. He addressed the Chapter after receiving award expressing his gratitude.

He said he has grown professionally because of the relationships he has formed through the ASFMRA and the education provided by the ASFMRA has provided a great help in serving clients at a high level.
